| We are pleased to offer a variety of services for you,
from fiber to transport and showing... Showing and Transportation Can't make it to a show, but still want to get the awards for an upcoming auction animal? Look no further! Jennifer and Eric are renowned showmen that know how to present your alpaca in its best light in the showring. In 2006, Jennifer did something that is unprecedented: At the AOBA National Conference, she won 1st Place in Open Showmanship, Open Obstacle, and Open Public Relations. In 2007, she did it again! This clearly demonstrates her ability to work with alpacas, and present them to the judges. Jennifer and Eric combined have dozens of 1st Place awards for Showmanship, Obstacle, and Public Relations; although, Eric focuses on Showmanship for performance, while Jen competes in all of them. We also provide transportation services to shows. We have a well-ventilated 22' trailer with the ability separate the alpacas as needed. We leave from Chardon, Ohio, and typically attend about 10 shows per year. We can also provide non-show transportation for your alpacas if we are going in that general direction. Transportation costs fluctuate with fuel costs. Contact us for transportation and/or showing.

Fiber Have you wanted to learn how skirt a show fleece? How about create a two-ounce sample? Spin? All BRF clients are entitled to education and training from Jennifer, one of the country's leading experts in the fiber industry. She personally has won dozens of Champion and 1st Place awards for her abilities. She is also an Apprentice Fleece Judge, and an active participant on AOBA's Fiber Committee. Consulting and Advising We are frequently asked to consult and provide opinions on alpacas, fiber, and the business in general. Both Jennifer and Eric are very active in the alpaca community, and we are able to provide honest, candid, and legitimate feedback without any political pressures or conflicts of interest. This is particularly useful for evaluating alpacas you are considering purchasing at an auction. Contact us for honest answers.
